Fraser Coast Adventures (frasercoastadventures.com) is an independent online guide to Fraser Island (K'gari) 4WD tag-along tours and Hervey Bay whale watching experiences. We provide operator comparisons, honest assessments, and booking links to third-party tour operators via the Viator platform.

We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or booking platform. We do not process bookings, collect payments, or operate tours.

Affiliate disclosure

Fraser Coast Adventures is a participant in the Viator affiliate program. This means we earn a commission when you click a link on our site and make a booking on Viator. The commission is paid by Viator and does not affect the price you pay. The price you pay for any tour is the same whether you book directly through Viator or through our affiliate links.

This commercial relationship does not influence our editorial content. Our operator assessments and recommendations are based on publicly available information, traveller reviews, and operator credentials — not on commission arrangements or paid placements.

Your contract for any tour is directly with Viator and/or the tour operator, not with Fraser Coast Adventures. We have no liability under that contract.

This limitation of liability does not limit rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If you have rights under the ACL that apply to you, those rights are not affected by these terms.

Activity risks

The activities described on this site — 4WD driving on Fraser Island and boat-based whale watching — carry real and material risks. By choosing to participate in these activities, you accept personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your group.

4WD tag-along tours

Fraser Island sand tracks involve driving on soft sand, variable terrain, beach highways, and remote areas with limited mobile phone coverage. Risks include vehicle bogging, mechanical breakdown, rollover, and injury from sand or water conditions. You drive at your own risk. A valid Australian driver's licence is required.

Whale watching

Boat-based activities on open water carry risks including seasickness, falls on vessels, and unexpected vessel motion. Follow all crew instructions. Inform operators of any relevant medical conditions before departure.
